Obligatory Thanksgiving Post: Feeling Joyful and Giving Thanks
"Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances. For this is God's will for you." I Thessalonians 5:16-18
As I wrap up 2016, I can't believe what this year's held. I met some amazing people, followed a dream, and formed some incredible friendships. I have witnessed some beautiful moments, laughed, cried, and celebrated.
I've worked with some of the most incredible people, and for that I'm so blessed. Since this is Thanksgiving week, let me list a few of the things I'm grateful for:
Friendamily: My combination of friends, family, even some business owners are the strongest support system and my cheering section. My family is always one phone call away. They let me bounce ideas off them, share my dreams, and split PB&J's with me. The calls, texts, and emails keep me going. I wouldn't trade y'all for the world.
My pups: Sadie and Maisie greet me at the door everyday. I can't help but to smile just thinking about those puppy snuggles. They don't judge, hold a grudge, nothing. They're just family.
My friends: An amazing assortment of people have collected me and call me their friend. They love me. They make me laugh. They send me encouraging texts. They always make me smile. No amount of distance seems to be able to separate us. I'm blessed to walk through life with so many amazing people.
My job: This year has been a challenging, balancing act, but I wouldn't change it for the world. I love what I do. I've been so blessed through the opportunities God has made for me and I couldn't be more grateful for what I get to do.
My blog: I can't believe I'm finally running a wedding blog! I've wanted this since 2012. God's plans prove to be better than my own, and I truly enjoy staying in the wedding industry, networking with other professionals, and spreading the love.
I can't wait to make a "best of 2016" post. I want to celebrate all that I got to see, encounter, and capture. I thank each and every one of you for giving me the chance to be in your lives.
